Start the season in style Saturday, October 18th at 7pm in the Memorial Auditorium. We are sure you'll want to be part of this evening filled with various entertainment. Taking center stage will be special appearances by guest artists; Judith Dickison and Lucás Cerny, as well as Fresno Ballet performing samples of past and future repertoire. Enjoy some hors d'oeuvres and cocktails as you browse through the various items of the silent auction benefiting all the different programs of Fresno Ballet.

PERFORMANCE
Sunday, October 19th at 2pm in the Memorial Auditorium. Two very different yet sophisticated ballets choreographed by Christopher Doyle

The Brel Songs: A native of Brussels (Belgium), the late Jacques Brel is a legendary writer, composer, and singer. His poetic songs combined with the sensuous movement of this ballet will no doubt captivate you.

Four Seasons: Choreographed to Vivaldi's engaging and lush score, this ballet demonstrates the different moods and dimensions of dance. From serious to witty, from romantic to dramatic this abstract work is a visual spectacle. Now is your chance to experience it.

 



 

The Nutcracker

Let's warm up your Holidays with our annual production of Nutcracker at the Saroyan Theater. Accompanied by the Fresno Philharmonic and the Central California Children's Choir with guest conductor Lucás Cerny, artistic director of CCCC. The Fresno Ballet brings to life Tchaikovsky's most recognized score and one of the world's most famous Ballets. From a dancing doll to a dancing star, from pesky mice to brave soldiers, join Clara and her hero "The Nutcracker" for their magical journey to the land of sweets. NUTCRACKER AUTOGRAPH PARTY
To the delight of the children this gathering, following both matinee performances, is a most popular event. Each child received a souvenir and a chance to meet and have photograph opportunity with their favorite character.

The Winter Series

An exciting program of premieres by guest choreographers and the Fresno Ballets' artistic director Chrisopher Doyle. Two performances only. Saturday, February 21st at 8:00 p.m.,and Sunday, February 22nd at 2:00 p.m. At the Historic Memorial Auditorium located in Downtown Fresno.

The Art of Ballet

Join us for one of a kind event which is really three events in one! Explore the exhibits of the Fresno Art Museum, enjoy Fresno Ballet in the intimate setting of the Bonner Auditorium and interact with the Fresno Ballet family at a post performance reception. One Performance only. Seating is limited.

The Firebird

Acclaimed by Fresno audiences two years ago. This Russian fairy tale, set to Stravinsky's powerful score, offers an impassioned story of love and hate, evil and goodness. Don't miss the return of this fiery and magical creature, the Firebird. Two performances, Saturday April 17th at 8:00 p.m., and Sunday April 18th at 2:00 p.m. in the Memorial Auditorium located in Downtown Fresno.
