THE FRESNO BALLET'S 'MAKE A DANCER' PROGRAM

The "Make A Dancer" program is an innovative, community based project designed to provide comprehensive ballet training and performance opportunities to boys throughout the Central Valley. The classes are geared to the specific needs of the male dancer and because they are for "boys only," the atmosphere is conducive to the student reaching his full potential.

A strong role model is provided by the instructor, Christopher Doyle, Artistic Director of the Fresno Ballet and former Principal Dancer with the Washington Ballet.

The program is supported in part by a grant from the Community Enrichment program administered by the Fresno Arts Council. Full and partial scholarships are available. Placement is by audition only, which will be held at Severance Fresno Ballet School, 1401 N. Wishon. For further information contact the Fresno Ballet at (559) 233-2623.
